紫玫瑰的力量
你相信嗎?

i cant believe that i watched this drama only because channel56 was airing it.. and it's because im watching it to pass time, while waiting for my hongkong drama to start! have been watching bits and pieces, here and there.. but on thursday, something happened and it made me wanna watch the entire drama. so i did and ended up spending the entire night up until meimei went off to school in the morning just to finish up the entire series. not just once.. because after i finished everything, i re-watched the last few episodes again.

maybe it's because this series hit home, so i was literally crying for nearly every of the last few episodes. how can anybody be put through so much pain and still pretend that everything is alright? sure, why not? just harden your heart and shut yourself from the outside world, but in the end you will realize that you cant do it at all. you're just numbing yourself, lying to yourself.

maybe the acting isnt as good as other series, but do give it a chance. =) because that's what i did and this immediately became my #1 series. totally jumped over 命中註定我愛你 and 下一站, 幸福 and both of these dramas were greeeeat. donno, but there's just something very different about 紫玫瑰, haha. and until today, i've been re-watching my favorite episodes.

when zida and xiaozi went on the date.. especially the scene when it started pouring and they dashed for shelter, haha. how he very naturally removed his jacket (is that jacket lol) and placed it on her, and how he naturally pulled her into a hug as they talked. and wth, can dont hug but keep denying your feelings not?! but aiyah, that scene was especially peaceful.. loved it. =)

when ceo lin was leaving and zida ran to her car. crying while confessing.. and called her mom. wahhhh, seriously is downpour. i wonder how ceo lin managed to hold everything in even after she knew that zida IS her son. how can a mother shun her own son? and how she finally decided to stay by his side, fighting through everything with him. the part when she was crying, blaming herself for not being able to give him a healthy body. oops, plot slip. wahh, another one.

yes, xiaozi may be too amazingly cheerful and naive at times, but haha, that's her charm. furthermore, i'd rather be super optimistic and simple, though annoying, than be a brooding being who has no more hope in life. i understand why xiaozi changed, but it must have hurt her a lot more because lin nuo was the man she loved. and the way zida was always there for her.. OMG. you will really heartache for zida, serious. but i love how their lives are literally entwined.. although i dont really like the ending. even if the director DID clarify that zida is well and alive and they both did end up together. i guess it is up to us to interpret it, but yeah.. at least i know they are together. =) at least, even the novel says so! xD

heh heh, nice to watch de, nice to watch de! just dont hold yourself back and let loose all of your emotions. you will be amazed at how much you will let off and how much you will pick up. serious. =)

have been extremely down the past few days. cant believe that i can actually be like this again. but i guess when one is thrown into the unknown, you really lose it. im not lost, im not confused.. it's just a mixture of everything. thanks to ahben for listening and not scolding me. for once, lol.. but yeah, still trying to sort things out. hopefully the ellialyn who will set off tomorrow with a heavy heart will be able to return with a clear mind and a bright smile! =)
