It seems that I've been focusing too much on what is not good and forgetting that there are good things waiting for me to notice them. My bad, really. It's just that I've been really affected by that one time we had to debate in class (I don't want to recall it anymore) and you know, me being me, screwed everything up. I honestly believe that people have laughed at me for it and yes, I let it get me down! I don't know what happened to me, really... I used to be able to speak well; I even loved presentations! :(
But okay! All that is in the past now! There were other things that happened and got me all upset and disappointed and yeah, I let myself wallow in self-pity again BUTTTTT it is all over now! I should have known better than to put myself down because I know what I can do and what I cannot (or don't want) to do. LOL. And yeap, I think it is about time I tell this to myself:
YOU DON'T HAVE TO ALWAYS EXPLAIN YOURSELF! If you have to, at all, then it better be to yourself. Only to yourself! If you like to do something, then just go ahead and do it! Why do you care so much about what others think about you, anyway? Remember, you are the one living your own life! Why let others affect your life when what you do don't affect them?!
If you want to take part in Big Bang's Cover Contest, JUST FREAKEN GO AHEAD. If you like to sing, JUST FREAKEN SING! Stop neglecting your Youtube account already! Which I already, by the way, deleted in a moment of pit-bottom confidence. Lol. I created a new one again soon after! Oops.
Just do what you want to do, what makes you happy because really... life is short and you are young only once. There are only so many things you can do before you find yourself no longer capable of doing it as well as you could have. Don't let time slip past, unless you will not regret it.
So yes! Confidence, Ellia, confidence! Confidence in who you are and what you like to do- confidence in yourself!
