HELLOOOOO!!! :D :D :D
gosh, you have no idea how long it took for me to finally stop fidgeting and start on this. i really meant to begin writing (or typing… or blogging) again the moment i was no longer plagued by school and exams and everything else! it's a lethal combination, i tell you, procrastination and restlessness! i have no idea how these two actually get along so well but apparently, they have perfect partnership! so perfect, it took me more than 24 hours to settle down!
well, it's been a hectic 2-3 weeks. i don't think i have ever been this busy my entire life… not even when i was juggling internship + assignments + suntec dance. oh well, it's a different story because i had dance to look forward to at the end of the day, haha. this time round, it's plain making the dash for the ending point.
but yes, finally! WE ARE DONE WITH TRIMESTER 2! :Dv and i will never, ever enroll with three modules again because that is pure suicide. lol. now i know. but at least i survived! done with all of the assignments and the three exams… wheeee! im a free (wo)man now!
and woah, it's exactly a week ago when i decided to burn the midnight oil- for the second time in my life, lol- to finish up the assignments for webnews. i had to do it, or i'd never have enough time left for communication research 2000 words essay. both are due on friday- the day of the HTC likes award, the day i'd get to see jay perform again! and hehh, take a picture with him again. i know, i know, im lucky. my whack luck brings me everywhere, lol.
so, in order to enjoy jay's performances without having "ASSIGNMENTS" lurking around in the back of my mind- in bold, caps and red ink- i decided that i needed to complete everything by thursday. this way, at the very least, i'd still get an entire day to look through my completed work and make necessary changes.
i failed, horribly, of course.
LOL.
i ended up having to fly around the house on friday, having completed everything only at around 3pm++. and i needed to leave the house latest by 4pm++ because i needed to hand in the hardcopy of my 2000 words essay! after which, i needed to get a little something for jay. i gave up on the letters and decided to get him medicated plasters for his ankle and elbow and any other areas that may bother him sometimes. lol. i figured that if it worked for my back (my best friend, yay!) then it should work as effectively for him as well. so yes, i flew from place to place… and finally got to suntec.

to top it all off with a delicious cherry, i only had a few bites of the beef pie mummy heated up for me in the morning. i was already severely deprived of sleep, mentally exhausted (imagine overworking your minds to ensure the ramblings of 3000++ words made sense), so very hungry and thirsty- why does the wait for the photo-taking have to be in a dark and cold place too?! it didn't help that i was feeling nervous about seeing jay up-close again… lol. thank goodness i befriended two jwalkerz from china! they helped me loosen up a lot (very adorable people), although i retreated into my tensed shell the moment we entered the dark and cold place… which was actually the event venue. LOL.
i guess all the chionging was worth it, because i had an awesome night! not only because of jay, but because of the other performers as well! jayesslee are even more gorgeous in real life, derrick hoh's performances exceeded my expectations (and david was his dancer too hahahaa) and i watched plain white t's perform live! and yes, the second cherry of the night, i was hecka close to the stage! i don't think that was where i was supposed to be at, actually… but oh well, since they ushered me there, so be it! i guess my whack luck really does bring me everywhere! XD
and haha, i totally froze when it dawned upon me how close i really was to the stage- all jay had to do was to reach out a little to shake our hands. EVERYBODY RAN, but i remained at my seat until the guy beside me "excuse me!"-ed me to get close to jay, too. lol. nah, you know im not a fan who would frantically reach out and try to touch his hand… im not.
the next day was jay's denizen fanmeet! i met a jwalkerz at my place's bus stop, lol. it was really easy to recognize us, because we were all dressed in denizen. head to toe; really, i've never felt more silly, lol. and i've never been more embarrassed to hand someone a gift because… christmas is clearly nowhere near but i put the medicated plasters in an isetan paper bag with christmas endorsements. LOLLLL. it is still many times better than a 7-11 plastic bag and it was the best thing i could find within such a short time! mummy stashed all of my nice paper bags into a place i don't know… T_T
but hey! it's the sincerity that counts! and i know for sure im not the only one who got him medicated plasters! but i didn't just get it for him, i bought enough for everyone. i think. lol. im a student and im finically strapped, kthxbye.
then it was off to meet morgan and nana to help them out for their flea at the singapore flyer! whey! it was so much fun! i had fun walking around for a mini shopping trip too, hehe. bought more rings! and a new pouch as my wallet. nana says it looks aunty, but i think it's quite the vintage piece. haha, whatever rocks my world~ claudie and timtim came down after that! foongping too, whom we met by coincidence. :Dv but it's nice, meeting old friends randomly. too bad i couldn't join them for dinner and the ice-cream party because my head was hurting so badly. so i went home and zonked out for hours straight, drifting in and out of sleep like i was in a coma. o_o all i wanted to do was to lay in bed and sleep to my heart's fullest content~
and so concludes my first ever trip to the singapore flyer (not on the singapore flyer, lol) and a week of intense assignment dashing. and yes, of course, seeing jay again. im glad the pictures turned out well, because both times i don't even remember what happened. all i remember was doing my trademark :Dv and then walking off. LOL. but yeah, they turned out nice! AND DID JAY GROW OR WHAT? WHY IS HE SUDDENLY SO TALL?! lol!
so yes, it is the holidays now and imma do everything i've been wanting to do but am unable to because of schoooooool~
